We worked with the state of Alaska to pioneer the most successful reinsurance program in the country with the help of the 1332 waiver.
The Last Frontier had found themselves in a bind. Healthcare premiums in the state were so expensive, people couldn’t afford them in their marketplace, priming Alaska to become the first state with no insurance carriers.
